- November 12-13, 2025, Taping of Alabama Scholars Bowl APT Program for Middle School Teams

- January 24, 2026, Middle School District Tournaments
- February 6, 2026, Junior Varsity District Tournaments
- February 13, 2026, HIgh School District Tournaments
- February 20, 2026, Elementary School State Tournaments (Wallace State Community College, Hanceville)
- February 28, 2026, Middle School State Tournaments (Hoover High School)
- March 6, 2026, Junior Varsity State Tournament (Wallace State Community College, Hanceville)
- April 10, 2026, High School State Tournaments (Jefferson State Community College, Hoover)
2025-2026 AISA Tournament Dates
(For Schools That Are Members of the Alabama Independent School Association Only)
- January 20, 2026, Middle School State Tournament (No District Tournament)
- February 25, 2026, High School State Tournament (No District Tournament)
ASCA tournaments usually take place the same day (not date!) each year. The Elementary School Districts are held the Friday following the Martin King Luther, Jr. holiday, and the Elementary State Tournaments are held the third Friday in February. Middle School Districts are held on the Saturday following the Martin King Luther, Jr. holiday, and Middle School State is held on the fourth Saturday in February. Junior Varsity Districts are held the first Friday in February, and Junior Varsity State is held the first Friday in March. High School District Tournaments are held the second Friday in February, and High School State Tournaments are held the second Friday in April. If the second Friday in April is Good Friday, the tournament coordinator will determine and announce the date of the High School State Tournaments at the beginning of the season.
AISA tournament dates and locations are determined by the Alabama Independent School Association. For more information, contact Meribeth Minshew at meribeth@aisaonline.org.
We expect to email registration materials for the 2026 tournaments in October; the entry deadline is 11/30/25. Applications are also available below. Also, if you learn of scheduling conflicts with other academic competitions, send us a contact name. We cannot change our dates!
