Congratulations to Gadsden Middle School and Rainbow Middle School, Winners of our 2024 Division I and Division II Middle School State Tournaments
ASCA sponsors the Alabama Scholastic Challenge for Alabama middle schools in which academic quiz bowl teams comprised of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders compete for our state championship. The ASCA middle school district tournaments took place on Saturday, January 20, and the state tournament on Saturday, February 24. The AISA middle school district tournaments took place on Wednesday, November 29, and the state tournament on Monday, January 29. The winner of the AISA state tournament received an automatic invitation to ASCA's state tournament. Wel also sponsored an elementary school tournament for students in the 5th and 6th grades. There were no district tournaments for elementary school teams, but an open tournament for elementary schools took place on Friday, January 26.
